Scarecrow Row
2024 Scarecrow Row is now standing at the Troy Historic Village!
Visiting Scarecrow Row
Scarecrow Row is located around the perimeter of the Troy Historic Village. Park in our parking lot (60 W. Wattles Road), then take a short walk to visit all of our scarecrow visitors!
The scarecrows are outside the Village fence, so you can visit them for free anytime - even if the Village is closed!
Please note, if visiting outside Village regular hours, restrooms and other facilities are closed.
Frequently Ask Questions
- Can I still register my business or organization for Scarecrow Row?
Scarecrow Row for 2024 is SOLD OUT! Thank you so much to our sponsors! If you would like to be added to the list to be contacted when registration opens for 2025, please click HERE to fill out a form and send us your contact information. - Can I take pictures of the scarecrows?
Yes, please! We would love to see the photos you took, too! You can tag us on social media, or send them to us in an email at ScarecrowRow@thvmail.org. - How do you decide where each scarecrow goes on Scarecrow Row?
Some scarecrows are strategically placed because they need additional support, but for the rest we use a random wheel generator. We put all of our sponsor names in, and then assign them a number as their name is picked! - Who builds the scarecrows?
Some sponsors choose to build their own, and some sponsors choose to pay a little extra towards their sponsorship to have our amazing all-volunteer Scarecrow Row Building Team build theirs!
