Winter 2024-2025 Class Schedule:

Wren's Colorful World

January 15: Wren’s Colorful World

The wren may not be the most multi-hued bird in the world, but isn’t this species cute? We'll spotlight a handsome wren and give him gorgeous surroundings, replete with a cool perch and a colorful backdrop!

Go Flamingo

January 22: Go, Flamingo!

Even if we can’t quite get to southern climates right now, we can dream about them and think pink, pink, pink, as in a dashing flamingo wading in exotic, rich-blue waters.

Sturgeon Point Light

SOLD OUT January 29: Sturgeon Point Light

Completed in 1870, the Sturgeon Point Light Station on Lake Huron is quite a charming facility. Capture its snappy red trim, verdant surroundings, and more with watercolor paint and unique techniques.

Lilac Impressions

SOLD OUT February 19: Lilac Impressions

Lilac blooms may be months away, but let’s start channeling them in a beautiful painting now! How cool is it when a vase complements its inhabitants? Purple lilacs and verdant green foliage add zest to this vignette, replete with a vase featuring purple and green tones as well!

Zinnia Zest

*RESCHEDULED March 5 (previously February 12): Zinnia Zest

We’re breaking out a few colored pencils for this vibrant zinnia vignette, which is exactly what our winter-weary eyes need to focus on this time of year in Michigan. Pinks and oranges, plus a vivid backdrop will pop as we mix pencils with paints.

*Our Watercolor Class on February 12 has been rescheduled to March 5.
