Purchase your gifts in person inside our Village Gift Shop located in the 1927 Township Hall (large, red brick building facing Wattles) during our regular Village Hours (Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm). We're sorry- no online purchases or shipping available.

No admission ticket is required to enter the Village Gift Shop. Cash, check, credit cards, tap-to-pay, and Apple Pay are accepted.

Experience the Village come alive while celebrating the holidays during the 1850s-60s! Costumed reenactors will perform activities of the season like playing games, decorating, exchanging gifts, and calling on friends. Enjoy carols, kids’ crafts, hot cider and cocoa, and shopping for stocking stuffers in our general store. The theme this year is the Arts; learn about music, crafts, stories, and other artistic elements of the season.

Enjoy breakfast with the reenactors from Victorian Christmas! Break your fast with period-inspired dishes, chat with reenactors, and enjoy some period entertainment as you immerse yourself in the Victorian Christmas season. Includes an hour to wander the Victorian Christmas Village after breakfast. This small and intimate gathering is only available for the first 25 guests. Registration required, space is limited.

Just in time for the holiday gift-giving season! Many people wax nostalgic for the bygone era when the employees at the "mom and pop" store on the corner knew their name and all of their shopping preferences. THV History Interpreter Tom Arwady shares the story of how general stores were the center of activity in early American villages and how they were later replaced by variety nickel and dime stores like Kresge and Woolworth.

Our volunteers have been hard at work spreading holiday cheer and decorating the Village indoors, while the Troy Garden Club has decorated outside of the buildings. We can't wait for you to see it! Try our self guided tour and scavenger hunts while you're here, too. Our sidewalks and entry ways are always shoveled and treated.
