June 10: Start Summer on a High Note

Enjoy live music and music-themed kids’ crafts, sounds of break-drum and other found percussion, even an anvil chorus! You can make the anvil ring and forge hot metal when you take a mini blacksmithing lesson. Food trucks: Food for purchase available from Mean Weenie and AAA Ice Cream Carts.

July 8: Fun & Games

Baseball fun: field pop-ups, play catch and pickle. Splash in the water balloon area and try old-time outdoor toys and games like Native American “Double Ball.” Turn your throwing arm into a hammering arm when you take a mini blacksmithing lesson. Food for purchase available from AAA Ice Cream Carts and Nosh Pit.

August 12: Day of Doing

Try pioneer chores of late summer, make lemonade, “shop” in the 18th-century General Store, print a souvenir flyer in the Print Shop, and “chime in” at the Church or Town Hall. Play an old time parlor game. Build a scarecrow with volunteer help and supplies during our annual Scarecrow Workshop (Workshop fee is $15/scarecrow for Troy Historical Society Members, $20/scarecrow for non-members). Food for purchase available from AAA Ice Cream Carts.
